skydive

Today we are going to skydive.

Wooot.

pictures to follow.

UPDATE:

Well here it is.
It was an amazing experience, something that's really difficult to explain. Pure adrenaline rush for hours after you jumped.

There was 17 of us 14 from work and 3 friends. Out of 17, 15 of us jumped 2 are half cooked chickens. We all went to parachute center in Lodi, CA. We got there, we signed up, then got our waiver and watched our really old school orientation video. When they call out your number, you will then head to where you will strap your harness and meet with your tandem instructor and camera guy. They will brief you while you're being fitted with your harness. After that you go out and board the plane and you are on your way.

Watch the video and you'll see how it went. Enjoy.

Here's a couple of pictures.

EARTHQUAKE

I was seating in the backyard watering, then I felt i was being wobbled I thought one of my dog was doing it. But when I looked around I saw them lying on the ground and looking up and then they started walking around as if they're looking for something. Then they stopped.

4.0 earthquake centered in Alamo, CA according to USGS. I'm 7 miles away from the epicenter.

Fire! Fire!

Yesterday at work we had our annual fire alarm system wide test. It was going well, and we were talking about our past experience when we had the test two years ago. During that test the water pressure in our sprinkler system went so low that it triggered the alarm. It was really loud especially if you happen to be in the restroom. Anyway, people started asking "what the heck is that sound?" and we told them that it's the fire alarm and it's time for everybody to get out of the building. Almost everybody was really reluctant to leave their workstations. How can people be this way?

Well, back to the main reason of this blog entry. Across form our building on Bay St. side, is the Northpoint apartments. As we were trying to get through the day, we heard sirens. A lot of them, then one of our coworker said that there's fire across the building. We ran to her office to get a better view, as soon as it was confirmed that there was fire, The Professor and I ran to the roof top (and of course I have my camera ready) to get a real and best view of all the action. BananaFlash soon followed.

Here are some photos I took.

We are not sure what caused the fire.

Update: FOILED Phase 2 (OPP)

As soon as Johnny Paradise & I got off the elevator we heard this music, it sounded like someone left an alarm clock on. And to my surprise Jen was on the floor trying to rig my chair with a music board (that you usually find in a musical card), with a string tied to my bookshelf. What's even more funnier is that she asked chickleta (coworker) to be her watch.

All I can say is nice try, but you have to in the office earlier than us.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

So what's next? Phase 3?

OPP

Yesterday I thought to be uneventful, or so I thought. As soon a we got to the garage we saw this on Johnny Paradise and Banana Flash's cars.
